Welcome Friends

At Mish Mosh Herb & Flower Farm, my Lithuanian heritage and love for herbs, flowers and natural remedies led me to start my journey.  In my childhood I remember learning to garden from my grandmother and great grandmother. I was facinated that they searched out and used mushrooms and other wild plants for food and medicine.  

 

In the 1990's I enjoyed creating outdoor education classes that focused on the flora and fauna of the Shawnee National Forest - especially how to use plants in our every day lives. Since then, I have moved back to Springfield, Illinois and have been expanding my gardens and interests. 

 

I grow cut flowers, medicinal and culinary herbs and shitake mushrooms.  My husband and I also keep an apiary that provides us with honey and a flock of chickens for our farm fresh eggs.  We take pride in offering a diverse range of fantastic items, including unique limited edition and seasonal products, all at affordable prices.
